Our Story

From the farm.
To your mug.

The Daily Grind started in 2019 with a simple idea: coffee should taste like where it came from. We were tired of blends that obscured origin, and roasts so dark they all tasted the same.

We source directly from farm partners in Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala — relationships we've built over years of visits, cuppings, and shared harvests. When a new crop arrives, we roast small batches by hand in our Pilsen roastery to highlight what makes each origin unique.

No commodity beans. No middlemen. Just 200+ pounds of freshly roasted coffee going out the door every week to people who actually care about what's in their cup.

"The Yirgacheffe genuinely smells like blueberries straight out of the bag. I've been drinking specialty coffee for a decade and this is one of the best light roasts I've had."

"Ordered the ceramic pour-over and House Blend together. The pour-over is beautiful and the coffee is exceptional. I walked into the roastery in Pilsen and the team there is genuinely passionate."
